Anonymous asked Staff ago

If there is, you’re really in for it, because you cause the masses to sin. Even if there is a 0.000000000001 chance of hell, it’s not worth taking the chance. I would advise you to repent, because in tractate Rosh Hashanah it is written about you that those sentence to hell for generations never ceases burning. The Creator always leaves room for making mistakes so that there is free will. One who means to impurify finds the way open for him.

Dear Danny,

Let me ask you, one who plays with his life as though it were a crap shoot, a question.

Have you never thought, not even for a moment, that perhaps your fulfillment of the corrupt commandments might be the margin for error left by the “creator of the world”? Perhaps accepting the permission to kill a gentile is the path which may lead you to a future in hell?

Perhaps accepting discrimination against women — invalidating them as witnesses, not giving them inheritances, divorcing them against their wills, raping them and then either marrying them or paying them a mere 40,000 NIS — are values despicable to the Lord?

It seems to us that you’ve taken too great a chance, one in which you lose on all sides–both in this world and the World to Come.

We would like to give you a bit of advice, Over the course of the upcoming ten days of repentance, instead of going over the prayer text, read the following Daat Emet essays: Morality in Halacha, Gentiles in Halacha, and The Status of Women in Halacha.

Afterwards, examine your actions. Are you not in an “impure” place, misled by your heart into thinking that this is the will of G-d?

Have a good year,

Daat Emet
